It's the beginning of June and TALC 2010 is taking shape nicely. We now have an exciting line up of Key note speakers listed here in alphabetical order:

All of them have their foci on corpus use and a quick peek at our Keynote speakers page will let you see their bionotes and portraits as well the clickable titles of their talks. Under their abstracts, there is a comment field, so anyone signed in to the website can contribute to a discussion about the abstract before, during or after it takes place.
As for the talks themselves, we have wonderful range of topics grouped into blocks which will include relevant posters: Data Driven Learning, Teaching, Corpus use at Secondary school, Course books, Vocabulary, Multi-word Units, Phraseology, Specialised corpora, Spoken Corpus, English for Specific Purposes, Grammar, Verbs, Writing.
Parallel to the usual conference, TALC2010 is running a series of Training sessions for language teachers. These are being offered by some of the conference presenters who have expertise in the classroom use of corpora.
It's going to be an exciting few days in sunny Brno!
